Kathleen Errico, Ph.D., A.R.N.P., is a board certified nurse practitioner and magnet program director at SCCA and the Women’s Health Care Center at UWMC-Roosevelt and a UW teaching associate of Surgery.
Dr. Errico specializes in the evaluation of benign breast problems, breast cancer screening and diagnosis, as well as surveillance for breast cancer survivors and high risk patients. She strongly endorses a patient centered model of care in which the clinician and patient mutally decide on diagnostic and treatment plans.
Dr. Errico received her medical education at UCLA and earned her Ph.D. at Portland State University. Her interests include collaborative models of ARNP and physician practice. Since 2002, Kathleen has been involved with the Breast Health Global Initiative and the development of guidelines for screening, diagnosis, and treatment of breast cancer in countries with limited resources.
Dr. Errico lives on Whidbey Island and enjoys island life, ballroom dancing, skiing and gardening.
