Vital primary care services for the Lopez Island community

In 2017, UW Medicine began offering comprehensive medical care services for the entire family at the Lopez Island Clinic. We’re pleased to join this vibrant island community.

Open five days a week, we offer preventive healthcare, acute illness and injury care, chronic disease management, on-site digital X-ray services, and advanced lab testing. A Virtual Clinic kiosk is also available for urgent care needs.

UW Medicine is partnering with the Catherine Washburn Medical Association (CWMA) to operate the clinic.

To help residents better understand the transition to UW Medicine from the clinic previously managed by Island Hospital, we developed a list of Frequently Asked Questions.

We accept most major insurance plans. Make your appointment for primary care services today.

A note about patient safety:

UW Medicine is committed to providing care in the safest environment possible. We demonstrate our commitment by washing our hands before examinations, asking you to confirm your identity by verifying your name and date of birth at key times and asking you to confirm the medications and allergies listed in your medical record to avoid errors, allergic reactions and drug interactions.

Our clinics do not provide supervision for children, but we are concerned for their safety during your visit. You or a responsible person must directly supervise children at all times while in the building. Please do not allow children to play near equipment, as they could injure themselves or damage the equipment.
